One of the outcome of the Assemblies Leaders' Conference in 1994 was to look into means of
fellowship among adult Christians at an Inter-Assembly level. Arising out of this, annual
camps have been organised since 1995 to provide an opportunity for such fellowship and
practical learning in the Christian faith.
Since the inception of the Northern Region Fellowship Camp and the Central & Southern Fellowship Camp in 1995, the respective committees decided in 2003 to merge the two camps, renaming it the 'Assembly Fellowship Camp'.
It is hoped that through the years, our camps will take on an active role in providing (at a cross-assembly level) our working adults with a "retreat" of their own. Our prayer is that God will use this platform for interaction and learning among individuals who wish to live out their lives meaningfully and purposefully in His kingdom.
The primary objective of the camp is to provide fellowship and mutual support for personal fulfillment in obedience to God's Will and God's Word to all Christians who are living single lives because of one reason or another.
The camp provides a good opportunity for brothers and sisters to come together and get to know one another better, not only for the development of inter-assembly friendship, but also for better cooperation among assemblies as they are potential leaders of the future.
The camp also provides opportunity for like-minded saints to take a rest from their work-schedule to come together to share and minister to one another as they sit under the sound of God's Word dealing with matters of mutual interest in a healthy and congenial environment.
